Our Preparation Tips

From the moment beans are ground they begin to lose their freshness. In order to enjoy maximum freshness only whole beans should be bought, in small portions, and brewed shortly after.
After the bag is opened and coffee is ground, it should be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container. Coffee retains its freshness for two weeks from the date in which the bag was opened.

It is important to ensure that your coffee is properly ground for your selected brewing method. Making espresso requires a finer grind, while brewing with a paper filter can take a coarser grind. If you are unsure of what coarseness you need, please ask an Aroma employee for information.

Coffee is primarily water. For this reason it is essential that clean, good tasting, filtered water be used when brewing. Water that is too soft may interfere with the extraction of oils, compromising the taste profile of the coffee.

When frothing milk for cappuccino, the milk should not reach its boiling point. The ideal temperature of frothed milk is 70°C.
